Curved cut-to-order limestone steps with handrocked faces

Limestone Steps & Stone Treads

Nothing creates a more dramatic entrance than genuine limestone steps, cut to order for a truly customized look. Steps, treads and risers are ordered in standard sizes or custom cut to meet your specifications for homes, commercial buildings, pools and garden areas.

Cut-to-Order Steps vs. Paving Slabs

This page covers steps, treads and risers cut to order at their own dedicated thicknesses — steps 5" to 8" thick, treads 2" to 4" thick. This is a different product from the large-format paving slabs described on Paving & Flagstone, which are big natural flagstone pieces that some clients choose to lay as informal garden steps instead. If the project calls for dimensioned, cut-to-order steps and treads, this is that product; if it calls for large natural slabs repurposed as garden steps, that's the paving page.

Pairs With Pool Coping

Pool steps are frequently ordered alongside pool coping, so the edge treatment at the waterline and the steps leading into the pool read as one continuous stone program. See Coping & Caps for the matching pool coping.
