Limestone Wall Stone: Coursing or Guillotined
Four products, four jobs. Wall coursing is building facing, available in four named colour products for residential and commercial walls. Guillotined wall stone is garden and retaining wall stone. Thin veneer is the lightweight, space-saving alternative to full-bed coursing, made from the same coursing stone. Drywall stone is dry-laid, no mortar, sold by the load as well as by the piece. Set them side by side and the organizing dimension is bed depth: thin veneer runs 3/4" to 1 1/4" for a lightweight facing; coursing runs 3" to 4" for full-bed facing; guillotined runs 8" or 12" for a wall that has to hold ground back; drywall stone lays loose at a 2" to 4" layer thickness with no mortar at all.
Coursing
The building facing product, in Natural Bed and Sawn Bed.

Guillotined Wall Stone
Guillotined wall stone adds a formal yet rugged face to garden and retaining walls, with the same ease of installation as coursing.
Stone Types: Beige or Black Limestone.
Available Styles: Guillotined Face, Broken Ends.
Standard Size: random in length.

Thin Veneer
Made from natural coursing stone, thin veneer provides the same quality stone product in a lightweight, space saving alternative. Corner pieces are available to give the full-bed appeal. Ebel Natural Stone Thin Veneer can be installed indoors and outdoors and, in most cases, special structural support is not required. Natural Stone Thin Veneer is excellent for facing zero clearance fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, residential and commercial buildings, as well as flooring and wall gables.
Stone Types: Brown or Black Limestone.
Available Styles: split face natural bed; split face random (guillotined face); cleft face random (natural stone surface).
Standard Size: 3/4" to 1 1/4" thickness; 2" to 8" in height, random lengths.
Available Products: corner pieces; thinstone sills (2" in depth, 2"–4" thickness).
Applications: interior and exterior wall cladding; indoor and outdoor kitchens & fireplaces.
Drywall Stone
Easy to install, random drywall stone ensures longevity and gives landscaping projects that instant historical appeal.
Stone Types: Beige or Black Limestone.
Available Styles: broken random drywall; loose mixed random drywall available in tandem load, tri-axle load and dump-trailer; rubble available in tandem load, tri-axle load and dump trailer.
Standard Size: layer thickness 2" to 4". Pieces are random in length and width.
Applications: dry laid retaining walls & flower beds.

A wall built from coursing or guillotined stone still needs a cap — see coping and caps. And if the retaining job is bigger than a guillotined bed will carry, the same job at tonnage scale is armour stone.
